To set the prices of tours, select the tab Tour prices inside a rate table.
Choose the tour typology from Half day tour (duration of less than 6 hours), Daily tour (less than 24 hours) and Several days tour (more than 24 hours.)

For the half day and daily tours, you have the possibility to configure the prices for a Generic tour or a Tour by area.
For a tour of several days, there is only Generic Tour.

Generic tour

Define all the items you deem necessary to calculate a tour price and, for each item, choose a unit price and associate it to a quantity that could be Total Distance, Duration in hours or days or a Flat price. For several day tours, you also have the Daily Distance.
When the rate table is used to calculate a price for a quotation or a booking, the final amount is given by the sum of the unit price of each item multiplied by the specified quantity.

Let’s see an example. The configuration below means that the fare for the driver is $30 per hour and for the vehicle is $0.40 per mile.

By entering the customer, the vehicle type, the travel type, the route points and the trip dates in a quotation or in a booking, the price is automatically generated.

To see the details of the calculation, click on the Final total or open the Prices tab of a booking or a quotation, then click on Show rate table.

You are free to add all the elements you think you need to calculate the price and to specify, for each item, a Band and a Lowest price.

By configuring the Band, you can define, for example, a price for the first 100 miles and another price for the next miles, from 101 on.
By setting a Lowest price, if the quantity multiplied by the unit price is less than that value, then the Lowest price is used for calculations.

In the picture below, you can see that the first 100 miles have a price of $0.40 but since the minimum price is $20.00, it means that the first 50 (20.00 / 0.40) are always included.

In addition to the unit price, you can also configure the Unit cost for every element. This information is treated as the price quoted and when you will create a new quotation or booking, in addition to the price, the cost will also be set.

Tour by area

Configure specific prices by geographic area by entering the Tour Area, Duration in Hours, Included miles, and Price.
In addition, you have the option of specifying a supplement for every hour extra and one for every mile extra.

Add a new row by clicking + and then click on the map icon to select the area of jurisdiction among those you have previously configured.

When you make a quotation or a booking, if the route arrives within the configured area, the Price you set in the same field (with any extras if the trip exceeds the duration or distance) is applied.

Here too, you can configure the Cost for the single trip, and when you create a new quotation or booking, it will be applied together with the price.
